Combine Custom Shop

Thanks to Connors Eilersen and his team at Combine Guitars, I have a fantastic guitar. This is an excellent instrument, with features that go a step above anything I could find in a non-custom model. The customer service and attention to detail I received helped ensure each element, from measurements to features and material choices, was precisely how I wanted it. I was able to ask lots of questions and receive informative answers, and I had fun getting to choose from all the options. It’s amazing to have a guitar with no compromises. Good price, too. Every design choice I asked about, Connors gave me options to make it happen. His patience, skill and hard work led to an outstanding product. Connors’ passion for instrument-making is obvious, and it shows in the guitars he builds. Among other features, I asked for a customized control layout, stainless steel frets, a Seymour Duncan Liberator system, a subtly modified cutaway, and a contoured bolt-on instead of set neck configuration, and Connors’ response was basically “no problem!”. These features might not be to everyone’s taste, but that’s the point: you can get a custom guitar the way you want it. I never thought I would buy a custom guitar, but I’m glad I ordered this one. Where I had specific ideas about design, Connors made it happen. Where I was less knowledgeable (for example, choosing a truss rod), I felt confident in his recommendations. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand. Marvelous looks, great sound, great feel, and made in Canada. I am delighted with this guitar!"
