What are Multiscale guitars?
Multiscale guitars have necks with fanned frets, which are frets that vary in angle, rather than all being perpendicular. This allows for each of the strings to have its own scale length, instead of all being the same. This means the guitar has more equal tension with better intonation. These factors result in less notes being sharp or flat, high notes are less shrill, and low notes are less muddy. They are also often considered more comfortable and more ergonomic.
Multiscale 8-String Guitar Kit
Designed with the modern virtuosos in mind, Combine's latest 8-String guitar kit features a 24-fret multiscale neck (26.5-28.5"), fixed-headless bridge, and a gorgeous flame maple top. The fanned fretted neck is made of maple and topped with a rosewood fretboard and pearly inlays.

Multiscale 5-String Bass Kit
Built for form and function, Combine's latest 5-String bass kit features active pickups, a 24-fret multiscale neck (33-35"), and a multiscale-fixed bridge. The active electronics are equipped with a 3-band EQ, blend knob, and master volume knob. The fanned fretted neck is made of solid maple, and the body is basswood to reduce the overall weight of the guitar.
