Curious about his process? Here is his story:
"This is my 8 string guitar build. Also the first kit I have ever built. I had a strong vision for the build before I even ordered it, so I first sourced a thin flamed maple veneer that I bookmatched and glued to the top. I used a handheld router to get all the edges cleaned up. The top is stained and finished in polyurethane. The back of the body and neck is first lightly stained black, then thin layer of walnut colored wood wax and finally light layers of tru oil to seal it and get a bit of shine. The fingerboard I ”ebonized” lightly with black leather dye. I ended up removing most of the excess dye to get a more uniform color so I ended up just slighly darkening it.
